Marine Internet Access
Imagine the ability to surf the web, check e-mail or stock performance, view interactive weather maps, or remotely connect to your office. Now, imagine doing so from anywhere on your boat, with no wires, cellular phones, or telephone lines.
A boater at any of our enabled marinas requires only an inexpensive '802.11 compliant' wireless network card, and a compatible personal computer. Most laptops on the market today are compatible, and many come with wireless network cards already installed.
Requirements To take advantage of CoastalWave Marine WiFi, a laptop computer with Windows
Vista, XP or Windows 2000 and a Cisco 350 series wireless adaptor are recommended. Other operating systems and wireless cards are compatible with our WiFi network, but we provide limited support. Other WiFi enabled devices, such as PDA's and phones, may also work.
We currently offer service at the following marinas:
As of Spring 2008
